Featured installations
1. Knox-Henderson contemporary new build
A 2024 new-build collaboration in Knox-Henderson with a 60-inch linear gas firebox installed as the principal-room visual anchor. Surround in single-piece Lueders limestone with a custom blackened-steel detail at the firebox aperture. Project run with the partner design firm’s specifications.
2. Bishop Arts historic-sympathetic redesign
A 2025 redesign of a 1920s Bishop Arts bungalow. Traditional gas firebox installed inside the original brick aperture, with a hand-troweled plaster surround in soft white. Coordinated with the partner design firm’s broader interior refresh.
3. Design District contemporary loft
A 2025 collaboration on a Design District residential loft conversion. Electric firebox specification β the right call given the no-flue retrofit context β paired with a custom millwork surround in painted hardwood. Documented as a model for premium electric retrofit work.
4. Frisco Newman Village contemporary new build
A 2024 spec-build collaboration on a Newman Village contemporary residence. Linear gas firebox sized to a great-room volume, with a single-piece Cordova Cream limestone surround. The home was photographed at completion for the design firm’s portfolio.
5. Prosper traditional new build
A 2025 collaboration on a Prosper traditional new build with a traditional gas firebox, hand-built ceramic log set, and a painted-wood mantel coordinated with the room’s broader trim package. Standard scope for a Prosper premium new-build.
6. West Plano premium renovation
A 2025 renovation of a West Plano premium home that replaced the original 1990s prefabricated firebox with a contemporary linear sealed direct-vent unit. Mantel redesign coordinated with the partner design firm’s broader interior refresh.
7. Frisco custom-build outdoor loggia
A 2025 outdoor fireplace installation in a Frisco custom-build loggia. Linear gas firebox specified for the outdoor application, with a stone surround matched to the pool deck and patio finishes. Vent run coordinated with the GC’s roof terminations.
8. Knox-Henderson primary suite retrofit
A 2024 retrofit of a Knox-Henderson primary suite with a small electric firebox. The room had no existing flue. Electric was the right system call; the surround was a custom millwork frame painted to match the room’s existing trim.
9. Bishop Arts wood-to-gas conversion
A 2025 conversion of an original 1928 Bishop Arts wood-burning firebox to a sealed direct-vent gas system. Original brick aperture preserved; gas firebox installed flush; period-proportioned ceramic log set fitted. The bungalow’s original architectural integrity is intact.
10. Design District new-build linear specification
A 2024 new-build linear gas firebox specification in a Design District contemporary residence. 72-inch viewing window, Cordova Cream surround, contemporary aged-brass slip detail. The largest single linear specification in the studio’s recent project work.

How to use the archive
For homeowners. Identify two or three projects that read as architecturally adjacent to your own situation and bring those references to the conversation. We work from references β yours and ours β rather than from generic mood boards. For designers and architects. The archive is a working portfolio. Most projects are credited where the partner firm has agreed to publication; uncredited projects are shown with the partner referenced in placeholder language. Cross-references are available on request. For builders and GCs. The archive shows the range of specification work the studio executes regularly. If you are running a build with a fireplace specification on the punch list, the archive is a useful gauge of what we are set up to deliver and at what level.—
Project photographs are taken by the studio’s preferred photographer at final commissioning, by the partner design firm’s preferred photographer where applicable, or by the homeowner’s photographer where the homeowner has retained one. Image rights are coordinated case-by-case; for republication rights or high-resolution downloads, contact the studio directly.

Archive growth
The archive is updated quarterly with new featured projects. Trade Pro members are invited to nominate projects from the partner roster for archive inclusion. Inclusion criteria are: completion within the past 24 months, partner firm sign-off on photography rights, and the project being a representative example of the studio’s specification register.
