Trade Pro Program

Most fireplace specification, in the contemporary Dallas residential market, runs through a designer or an architect. The Trade Pro Program at Space Fireplace Services is the structure that supports those specifications — fifteen percent trade pricing, dedicated project management, shareable project galleries, structured spec workflow, and the credential set your firm needs on file before specifying us into a project.

The program is open to credentialed trade professionals. Onboarding is straightforward and built around the way design and architecture firms run projects rather than the way contractors run intake.

15% trade pricing

On all fireplace specifications, surround fabrication, and installation labor across our service catalog. Pricing is applied at quote stage, itemized separately on every project document, and verified against the published retail rate so the discount is transparent to your client when you choose to disclose it.

Dedicated project management

Each Trade Pro project is assigned a single point of contact on our team, named at engagement, available by phone and email through the project. The PM owns the schedule, the material order tracking, the inspection coordination, and the daily communication. You and your client deal with one person.

Shareable project gallery

Every completed project is photographed at final commissioning. Trade Pro members receive a private gallery of full-resolution photographs with usage rights for portfolio inclusion, social media, magazine submissions, and award entries. Where applicable and with the homeowner’s permission, we credit the design firm on our project archive; we expect the same in return where appropriate.

Structured spec workflow

We work from your specifications. The intake process for a Trade Pro project is built around the deliverables you produce — typically an elevation, a material spec, a finishes list, and a schedule — rather than around our internal scoping format. We translate your spec into our build documentation; you sign off; we build to it.

Insurance and credentials on file

A certificate of insurance with your firm listed as additional-insured is issued automatically at engagement. Our state licensing, manufacturer certifications, and bonding are documented and accessible to your firm’s project administration.

Showroom priority

Trade Pro members have priority access to the studio, with same-week appointment availability and trade-only material samples available on request.

The Trade Pro program is open to:

• ASID (American Society of Interior Designers)
• NCIDQ (Council for Interior Design Qualification)
• IIDA (International Interior Design Association)
• NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association)
• Or with comparable professional standing in the Dallas market
• AIA (American Institute of Architects)
• TBAE (Texas Board of Architectural Examiners)
• Or with comparable practice credentials
• Active Texas licensing
• Verifiable practice in the Dallas premium home market
• Documented project portfolio

Practice credentials are checked at engagement. We are happy to discuss program access for designers and architects in adjacent specialties on a case-by-case basis.

After the first project, the partnership is active. There is no annual renewal, no minimum project commitment, and no exclusivity requirement.

The standard Trade Pro project flow is five stages.

Active Trade Pro inquiries are handled directly by the studio. Please include:

• Firm name and primary contact
• Credential set (ASID, NCIDQ, AIA, NKBA, IIDA, etc.)
• Approximate project register and typical scope
• Active project for which you are evaluating SFS, if applicable

We respond to Trade Pro inquiries within one business day, year-round.

The active Trade Pro membership includes interior design firms working primarily in Knox-Henderson, Bishop Arts, Design District, Frisco new-build, Prosper, and plano/" class="auto-entity-link" data-term="West Plano">West Plano, plus residential architects whose practice spans the same geography. Member feedback is gathered annually and informs the program’s continuing evolution.
